Today was a big wow! First, we got breakfast and I fell asleep at the table. I felt sick. Maybe it was because I hadn’t slept in so long . Then we got to our hotel at 9:30 in the morning and I went to bed for the day. It was weird how I went to bed for the day because we use to be in New Orleans and now were in Iceland . It is five hours ahead so the question is…is it day one or day two? And remember how I fell sleep at the table? Well, mommy had to carry me home. And I ploped on the bed. And guess what? I slept for the rest of the day and night and when I woke up it was 4.00 pm and we went to a Justin Bieber concert !!!!! And right now when I am writing this there is a party on the streets!!!! In Iceland!!! So I would love to hear if you think it is day one or day two. Bye

Hi Cricket! This is your mom’s friend Camille. I love your posts! I think it must be day 2. You have to go swimming in the Blue Lagoon and go for a ride on Icelandic ponies while you are in Iceland. And then tell us what makes the Blue Lagoon blue.
We can’t get a ticket for the Blue Lagoon. It’s sold out. Very sad but our driver said he will take us to a local spot. He said the lagoon was an environmental accident from a power plant’s waste water. Local kids found it first. Their mommies didn’t like it, but they didnt listen. Then tourist started jumping in. The waste water made the lava rocks water proof and the salt from the sea works with the minerals in the waste water and you get the Blue Lagoon. Its kinda stinky he said.
Cool! Can you imagine discovering that and having the guts to just jump in?? I bet the local spot was way cooler than the touristy Blue Lagoon!
Im scared of the horses. Mom said she won’t make me. Its raining a lot too. The horses have a gait or jump different from other horses. Cool colors too.
